Ziqi Shen

Ziqi is a PhD candidate co-supervised by Traude Beilharz and Michael J. McDonald at Monash University, and works on the evolution of central carbon metabolism across the tree of life.

She completed her Master’s degree in Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS), where she worked on the evolutionary and comparative genomics of fungi.
