Eamon Conway

Research Fellow

Dr Eamon Conway is a postdoctoral researcher at the QUT node of MACSYS, specialising in mathematical modelling, parameter estimation and decision making.

Eamon completed his PhD in applied and computational mathematics in 2019 at the Queensland University of Technology. Since that time, he has worked across both academia and industry, with a focus on developing statistical and computational models of complex real-world problems. A notable highlight of Eamon’s career is his contribution to the Doherty Institute COVID-19 modelling report prepared for National Cabinet during the pandemic. His modelling formed a core component of the report and directly informed Australia’s vaccination strategy and roadmap for reopening.
