Adarshkrishnan (Krishnan) is a PhD candidate at Queensland University of Technology under the supervision of Professor Matthew J Simpson and Professor Pascal Buenzli. He is currently working on automated model selection from noisy data sources using an integral formulation followed by sparse optimisation. This methodology can be applied to the biological data generated by MACSYS to procure interesting results.

Krishnan received a BS-MS dual degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram. His master’s thesis was on topology optimization using FEM.  Before joining QUT, he worked on chromatin biophysics as a junior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
